Help shape your local area!
30 November 2023

City of Canning residents are being asked to help shape the future planning of spaces and places by providing their feedback through the City’s Living in Canning survey.

The City of Canning wants to know how residents feel about Living in Canning to gain a deeper understanding of the communities' values and needs.

The survey, which is open until 17 December 2023, asks residents what they believe makes somewhere a good place to live, how residents experience their local area and what needs to happen to improve quality of life.

By providing their feedback residents will go into the draw to win 1 of 5 $100 Westfield Carousel vouchers (terms and conditions apply).

City of Canning Mayor Patrick Hall said the feedback provided in the survey will help improve residents’ experiences within the City.

“The Living in Canning survey focuses on how the community feel about living in Canning tying into liveability index’s that are being used worldwide,” he said.

“This feedback will help us understand what we can include in our future planning to ensure Canning is a welcoming and thriving City for all,” Mayor Hall said.

The City has been actively working to engage with the community and particularly the harder to reach groups within Canning by leveraging off City engagements and events to bring the Living in Place survey to the community since 15 November.
