Proposed permanent road closure of portion of Hamilton Street, Cannington

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997 of the City’s intention to close 233m² portion of Hamilton Street road reserve in Cannington (subject to survey). 

This portion of road reserve is no longer required by the City and is proposed to be closed to be made available for purchase by the adjoining owner. It is noted that the proposed road closure is only for a portion of vacant road reserve and will not affect current vehicle access for any properties along Hamilton Street. 

Submissions on the proposal can be emailed to laura.colasante@canning.wa.gov.au or made in writing to the City of Canning, Locked Bag 80, Welshpool WA 6986 no later than 5pm, Friday 19 September 2025.
