Bill Cole Function Centre
Riverton Leisureplex’s Bill Cole Function Centre is available for hire.
Located outside the Riverton Leisureplex, the Bill Cole Function Centre features:
- a large function room with adjoining private courtyard
- meeting room
- Wellness Studio.
Bookings
To make a booking, please complete the application form (PDF 230KB) and email to bookings@canning.wa.gov.au. All bookings must adhere to the Booking Terms and Conditions.

Function Room
The function room is suitable for large gatherings, meetings, and seminars. It has hosted weddings, birthday parties, hen's and buck's nights, engagement parties, and graduation celebrations. The room features:
- large function room
- pre-function area
- adjoining private courtyard
- modular stage
- large reheating kitchen with servery to the function room.
Capacity is 208 sitting down and 295 standing.
Meeting Room
The meeting rooms are suitable for seminars, meetings, courses, training, and other small events.
The room features:
- a large screen available for presentations
- access to a large reheating kitchen.
Capacity is 16 sitting down (boardroom style) and 35 standing.
Wellness Studio
The Wellness Studio is suitable for seminars, meetings, courses, training, and other small events. It is a flexible space suitable for various activities.
Capacity is 30 sitting down and 50 standing.
Tables and chairs are included with the cost of the room. Available equipment includes:
- chairs (fabric) – 275
- tables (round) – 30
- trestle tables (rectangular) – 8
- digital interactive screens (meeting rooms only)
- a sound system
- microphone
- lectern
- display boards
- stage pieces
- a data projector and screen is available at an additional cost.

Standard rate
The standard rate applies to most bookings of the Bill Cole Function Centre.
Community rate
The community rate is for not-for-profit organisations or those with a certificate of incorporation. Please provide this to our bookings team with your booking application.
Function rate
Function bookings can be made for Saturday evenings from 5.00pm to 12am. The function rooms are also available for hire during the week subject to availability. These bookings will also include a bond subject to a booking officer's assessment.
Parking bays including accessible and seniors' parking bays. Please note parking cannot be guaranteed.
Our Centre is wheelchair accessible and has level access from car parks to main entrance and disabled toilets.
The Function Centre is accessible by lift or stairs.
