Willetton Sports Precinct Redevelopment

The Willetton Sports Precinct Redevelopment is proposed to transform the existing precinct into a modern, inclusive and accessible group of facilities that better serve the needs of the local community and sporting clubs.

The precinct supports a large and diverse membership across multiple sporting activities, with participation by women and girls currently lower than desired. The redevelopment seeks to address this by reducing barriers to participation through the delivery of gender‑neutral amenities and inclusive spaces that better reflect the needs of all users.

The project focuses on optimising the utility and functionality of the Centre to meet both current and future demand. It will continue to support local sporting clubs while strengthening the Centre’s role as a vibrant community hub, including the provision of youth and community‑focused spaces that promote social connection and inclusive engagement.
