The City's Business and Economic Development team offers practical, personalised support to help you navigate the process of starting and running a business. This includes:
- One-on-one guidance from our Business Facilitator to help you understand what is required and in what order
- Information on the approvals and permits you may need
- Access to funded mentoring programs, workshops and business development resources
- Connections to grants, funding opportunities and industry networks
- Referrals to specialist support services and government agencies.
You do not need to have a specific question to get in touch. Many business owners find that an early conversation saves significant time and cost later on.
