If you are unable to pay your rates due to financial hardship, you can apply for a special payment arrangement or a due date extension.
To apply, please complete the Financial Hardship application form.
We will review your application and work with you to create a payment plan. The plan will depend on how much you can afford to pay and your personal circumstance.
Please be aware:
- If the conditions of your plan are dishonoured, there will be a fee of $15 per dishonour.
- We will not charge any fees as part of your extension or payment plan.
- The Penalty Interest for late payments is 7% per annum on overdue rates and service charges, and 11% per annum on overdue Emergency Services Levy.
