Exciting Updates in the City of Canning’s Playground Renewal Program
The City of Canning is thrilled to share the latest developments in our Playground Renewal Program, reflecting our ongoing commitment to enhancing community play spaces. As part of our effort to create vibrant, engaging, and high-quality recreational areas, we are excited to announce the recent upgrades to ten playgrounds in our City.
Highlights of the Upgraded Playgrounds
Across the City we have exciting new upgrades at Godfrey Park, Hossack Park, Cardoc Park, Prendwick Park, Barracuda Park, Ockham Park, Crofton Park, Cygnet Park, Saurel Park, and Modillion Park. Each location has been thoughtfully improved with new play equipment, enhanced amenities, and features designed to elevate the play experience for children and families alike.
Spotlight on Hossack Park
Our latest video showcases the revitalised playground, highlighting the modern play equipment and improved facilities at Hossack Park. The enhancements at Hossack Park are a testament to our dedication to providing safe, enjoyable, and accessible play environments for all residents.
Our Commitment to Community Spaces
These upgrades are part of the broader Playground Renewal Program, which aligns with the City’s Play Provision Strategy. This strategy focuses on creating fun, stimulating, and accessible play spaces that cater to the diverse needs of our community. Our goal is to ensure that there is at least one playground within 400 meters of every resident in Canning, incorporating features like shade, nature-based play, and inclusive design.
