Cannington Leisureplex is now home to a Zero Waste Refill Station!
The Zero Waste Refill Station works like a vending machine, making it easy to reduce plastic waste by refilling everyday products using your own clean containers from home.
You can purchase a range of common household liquids (that are locally made and environmentally friendly), including hand wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and household cleaners. See the full products list below for more information.
How to refill
- Bring your own container (clean, dry & fit for purpose with old labels removed)
- Choose the size (3 sizes available):
- 700ml, 1L, 2L for laundry liquid/softener
- 500ml, 700ml, 1L for all other products
- 700ml, 1L, 2L for laundry liquid/softener
- Tap to pay:
- Debit or credit card
- App pay (Apple, Google & Samsung)
- Monyx Wallet app
- Debit or credit card
- Refill
- Apply new label provided
The Zero Waste Refill Station has been supported by a grant from the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority and is owned by Skipping Stones Refillery.

Canning Refill Reward
Canning residents who refill four times can claim a one-off $50 Refill Reward. The four purchases can be made from a Skipping Stones Refill Station or Mobile Refillery. See the map of all locations.
The reward will be issued in the form of a voucher on the Monyx Wallet app, which can only be used at a Skipping Stones Refill Station (cannot be used at farmers markets).
Eligibility criteria
- be aged 18 years or over
- live within the City of Canning local government area.
How to apply
- Download Monyx Wallet app to register your account.
- Make your four refill purchases and keep the receipts. (Receipts must be dated from 1 July 2026. Receipts that have already been used to claim the Skipping Stones Refillery/Western Australian Government rebate are ineligible).
- Apply for a Refill Reward, attaching the receipts and proof of address.
- After approval and processing, a voucher of $50 will be credited to your Monyx account – you’ll receive text message notification.
