Finding grants and funding

The City of Canning has its own dedicated page on GrantGuru, a free online tool that lists grants and funding opportunities relevant to businesses and residents. The listing is maintained and updated regularly and covers local, state and federal funding sources.

Grants and funding opportunities change regularly. What is available today may not be available next month. Checking the GrantGuru listing regularly and getting in touch with our Business Facilitator early gives you the best chance of finding support relevant to your situation.

Government funded programs

Beyond grants, there are a range of government funded programs available to business owners that provide practical support, subsidised training and business development opportunities.

State Government programs

The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) offers a range of free and subsidised programs for small businesses in Western Australia including workshops, online courses, mentoring and business advisory services.

Federal Government programs

Business.gov.au is the Australian Government's central resource for business support programs, grants, registrations and advice. It includes a grants and programs finder that allows you to search by business type, location and stage of development.

Austrade

If your business is considering exporting or expanding internationally, Austrade offers programs and support to help Australian businesses access global markets.
