Small Business Development Corporation

The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) is the WA Government's dedicated small business agency. The SBDC website covers every aspect of running a business including starting and growing, marketing, finance, legal and risk, managing people, cyber security and dispute resolution. Free advisory services and workshops are also available.

Spacecubed

Spacecubed delivers programs focused on rapid development and scaling for startups and growth-stage businesses. Programs include pre-accelerator support, mentoring and access to investors and advisors.

Business Foundations

Business Foundations provides practical business training and support programs for new and established businesses, including workshops, online courses and one-on-one advisory services.

Industry bodies and networks

The City partners with key industry bodies to support businesses operating in logistics, freight, transport and supply chain sectors. These partnerships reflect the importance of these industries to Canning's economy.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA)

CCIWA is a leading business membership organisation offering advocacy, training, networking and advice for businesses across Western Australia. It is particularly strong for businesses looking to engage with policy, workforce development and industry trends.

Logistics Skills Council

The Logistics Skills Council focuses on skills development in the logistics sector, providing training guidance, workforce planning support and industry-specific insights for businesses operating in transport, warehousing and distribution.

Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA)

FTA supports freight, trade and logistics businesses with advocacy, industry research and pathways to connect with policy makers and partners.

Western Roads Federation

The Western Roads Federation represents industry stakeholders in road freight and logistics, offering advocacy, information and support to members.

Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA)

SCLAA delivers training, accreditation programs and events for supply chain and logistics professionals, connecting local operators with global best practice.
