I am writing to request the conversion of street parking on Burrendah Blvd between Vahland Ave and Pinetree Gully Road to proper pedestrian access. The stretch of road has recently become quite hazardous for users with the increase density of homes leading to numerous large size vehicles parked there on a long term basis. Those vehicles obstruct the view of drivers traveling on the road from seeing vehicles backing out of driveways. They also obstruct the drivers backing out of their driveways from seeing oncoming traffic. There have been many occasions or near misses, which resulted in altercations between car owners. Additionally, many children use that road to and from school every morning and afternoon and it is a matter of time before a tragedy happens in our community.
