Reinstatement of Park Facilities on Brixton Road

We respectfully wish to request the reinstatement of park facilities on Brixton road. This current space now consists of a large, underutilised grass area with only a single seat, which does not adequately serve the needs of the growing local community. Brixton Road and the surrounding streets are home to many families with young children. A well-equipped park in this location would provide a safe, accessible, and welcoming space for children to play, families to gather, and neighbours to connect. The current lack of facilities represents a missed opportunity to make meaningful use of valuable public land. Reinstating park infrastructure would significantly enhance the liveability of the neighbourhood and support the wellbeing of local residents. We believe that accessible green spaces are essential for healthy, connected communities and that this site is ideally positioned to serve that purpose.
