Join us for a welcoming, beginner-friendly family history workshop presented in partnership with Family History WA. This session will introduce you to the basics of family history research and provide practical advice to help you begin exploring your own family story.
Presented by Ian Simon from Family History WA, the workshop will draw on Ian’s more than 40 years of family history research experience.
During the session, you can expect to:
- Learn how to get started with family history research
- Discover useful records, resources and research tools
- Pick up practical tips for organising and developing your research
- Learn where to look for further information and support
- Have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance from an experienced researcher
Morning tea will be provided, with time to chat, ask questions and connect with others interested in discovering their family history.
