Grease Presented by New City Theatre Youth Drama

This October, New City Theatre brings Grease to Canning Town Hall — giving young performers the opportunity to develop confidence, leadership and professional theatre skills while creating a full-scale musical for their community.

This production is a particularly special milestone for three of New City Theatre's original members. Musical Director Aimee-Rose Keppler, 17-year-old performer Eloise Keppler, and 16-year-old choreographer Tamara Wolf have grown up with NCT, joining at just 3, 9 and 4 years of age respectively.

Now, years later, they are helping to create and lead the production themselves. Eloise takes on both Sandy and Rizzo, while Tamara plays Marty and Kenickie — roles they have dreamed of playing since they were little.

It is exactly what New City Theatre is about: giving young people a place to belong, the opportunity to discover their talents, and the chance to eventually become the leaders themselves.

New City Theatre has been proudly supported by the City of Canning since 2014, helping create opportunities for young people to learn, create, perform and belong. This production has also been made possible through the support of the City of Canning.

With energetic performances, great music and plenty of laughs, Grease has something for the whole community. Come along, support local young talent and celebrate what can happen when young people are given the opportunity to lead, create and shine!

This production of Grease will be held at the Canning Town Hall (1309-1325 Albany Highway, Cannington), corner of Albany Highway and George Street, Cannington. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance. There is a large free carpark with an overflow carpark. It is also directly opposite public transport bus stop.
