Garage Sale Trail is coming to Canning
Australia’s biggest second-hand treasure hunt is coming to Canning on 7-8 and 14-15 November for two big weekends of buying, selling and reusing.
This event celebrates buying and selling quality second-hand items at local garage sales and markets.
The Canning community can shop the trail with several garage sales and markets registered across the local area.
These include the Bentley Baptist Community Car Boot Sale on 7 November from 9am to 2pm, and the Thrifters Markets at Heartwood Collective on 7 November from 8am to 12pm.
City of Canning Mayor Patrick Hall said Garage Sale Trail aims to make buying and selling second nature.
“Reusing and reselling reduces waste, saves resources and supports a more circular economy in Canning, where good things stay in circulation instead of going to waste.
“We have a number of garage sales and markets registered for both weekends, so if you are on the hunt for a bargain, make sure you check them out,” said Mayor Hall.
Canning residents and community groups can register a garage sale or market for free until 15 November. To register, visit www.garagesaletrail.com.au.
