The Community Grants Program for 2020/2021 is open

The City of Canning’s Community Grants Program provides grants for activities which contribute to an inclusive, safe and vibrant community and create a welcoming and thriving City. Please read the Community Grant Program Guidelines to see if you are eligible to apply, to select the most suitable category, and to find out the closing dates throughout the year. 

Resilience Grants are back to support local community and sporting organisations, not-for-profits and businesses deliver activities which help improve the community's resilience and connectedness in Canning. These grants may also be accessed in support of activities that enhance the viability and capacity of organisations to respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

A variety of grant opportunities are available to help your organisation contribute to Canning becoming a Welcoming and Thriving City.

Grants Centre

A free grants portal is now available to help you search for funding opportunities from other funders which may support your activities in Canning.

You may search for funding to complement a grant offered by the City of Canning or alternatively seek alternative funding to suit your activity. The portal also provides other information including grant writing tips and organising and tracking applications.
