Each year our Youth Services team runs the City of Canning Youth Fest.

Youth Fest is the City’s largest event for young people. Youth Fest brings young people to together to have fun, connect, engage in activities and make new friends for a fun day. It is a free event with free food, DJs, photo booths, inflatables, and lots more fun activities.

Youth Fest is a drug, smoke and alcohol-free event for families, young people and the community.

Youth Fest – Bentley Bonanza


 

We are excited to host our second Youth Fest of 2023 on 23 June at Wyong Reserve, Bentley! Youth Fest is a FREE event for families and young people with fantastic attractions including:

  • inflatables, a bouncy castle, gladiator dual and more
  • free food
  • live DJ spinning all your favourites
  • photobooth to capture your moments with printable photos to take home
  • heaps activities with local services like The End Stop, headspace, MercyCare, Fusion Australia, Canning Libraries, Mission Australia, and Edmund Rice Centre WA.

Event Parking Information

Youth Fest will be held at Wyong Park at Baldock St, Bentley WA 6102. Please be informed that on-site parking is available but subjected to availability. Attendees are advised to allow for extra time when coming down for the event to secure a parking space.

Weather

In the event of bad weather, please check the City of Canning Youth Services Facebook page where we will update you with any changes or cancellations. 

Cost

Everything onsite is FREE besides the food trucks of course! If you would like to purchase from the food trucks, they accept cash or EFTPOS.

Photography and Videography

We will have event photographers and videographers documenting the event. If you do not want your photo taken, please let the camera person know.

First Aid

St John Ambulance will be onsite if you require medical attention. 
 

Information for parents and guardians

We are committed to providing environments where young people can feel welcomed and thrive. Our qualified youth team will do all they can to ensure young people are safe, supported and supervised during their time at the event.

The Youth Fest is delivered in line with current Department of Health COVID safety recommendations.
