Providing drop-in activities and school holiday programs, Willetton Youth Centre is an establishment offering support, referrals and advocacy to the City of Canning’s youngest residents.

 

Providing structured and unstructured activities for the young people of Willetton and surrounding suburbs, the centre offers pool tables, a Playstation and Xbox, table tennis and board games.

Structured programs include sport, music and dance activities alongside art workshops and cooking programs.

Unstructured programs include pool competitions, table tennis tournaments and gaming console competitions.

The centre additionally delivers parenting teen programs on topics such as Kids and Anxiety, Raising Boys/ Raising Girls and Managing Sibling Rivalry.

There is also a dedicated DJ room as well as a band rehearsal room for young people to use containing guitars, amplifiers, keyboards drums and a PA system.

Operations are funded by the City and the centre is staffed by a full time youth worker.

Tuesday - Friday : 3pm-5.45pm (during school terms)

School holiday programs are run during every school holiday period. Information on these programs will be available in the month prior to schedule holidays.
