Reimagine Fashion
Sustainable School Holiday Program for Young People
Through this exciting series, young people will gain practical skills, creative inspiration, and a deeper understanding of sustainable fashion. You will explore ways to reduce textile waste, rethink fast fashion, and make more environmentally conscious choices, all while expressing your creativity and individuality. These workshops are proudly supported by a grant from the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority.
Leisureplex Crèches
Our crèches at Riverton Leisureplex and Cannington Leisureplex are open throughout the school holidays, offering fun activities, sensory play, crafts, games, and interactive experiences for children aged 12 weeks to 8 years
Cannington Leisureplex Play Centre
- Admission Price: $7.00 per child
- Free entry for children under 1 year of age
- Ages: 0 – 8 years
- Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm
Canning Libraries and Learning Hubs
Check out the fun activities available at Cannington, Riverton and Willetton Libraries, Hillview Hub and Canning River Eco Education Centre.
Leisureplex Kids Sports
We've got a range of kids programs that will get their hearts pumping. Classes are for kids aged 4 to 13 years, except for Kindy Gym, which is offered for 4 years and under.

Play Centre
The Play Centre is designed for children aged 0 to eight years old. It is colourful, safe and air conditioned, and includes two slides, a small flying fox, and a super fun ball pit. There’s also a separate play area for tiny tots.
Libraries
The City of Canning has libraries in Riverton, Cannington, Willetton, at the Hillview Hub and at CREEC.
Youth Services
Our Youth Services team run programs, activities, and events to help the young people of Canning to connect, create, chill, and upskill.
Leisureplexes
There are Leisureplexes in Cannington and Riverton. They feature indoor swimming pools, gyms, sports courts, function centres and much more.
