Proposal to Dispose of Property – Portion of Lot 9000 (No. 22) Elizabeth Street, East Cannington

Council, at its meeting held on 20th of October 2026, resolved to support the disposal of a portion of Lot 9000 (No. 22) Elizabeth Street, East Cannington. It is a requirement of Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995 that the City disclose the following information for public consideration:

The City of Canning proposes to sell a 1326m2 portion of Lot 9000 (No. 22) Elizabeth Street, East Cannington to Sidas Australia Pty Ltd for the consideration of $950,000 ex GST. The market value of this disposition was assessed at $930,000 ex GST in May 2026. The sale of this land will facilitate and progress the subdivision and development of the subject property and the adjoining property, consistent with the City’s Town Planning Scheme No. 21.
